Our second Friday Art club session - join us for an hour or two of peaceful art making in our inspiring workshop space and explore sustainability focused projects in your lunch hour and beyond.
Using a selection of papers, the wonderful Jenni will guide you through the process of creating an A5 or A6 notebook using simple bookbinding techniques, including folding and stitching.
To make best use of already existing resources, we will also work with discarded papers and off-cuts of printed matter (magazines, paper carrier bags, lightweight card packaging like cereal boxes etc).
You are also welcome to bring your own papers or lightweight card if you prefer 📰📕📖
Jenni Allen is a screenprinter who produces limited edition artworks on paper which feature bold colour and abstract shape. She shares her mixed media skills by teaching workshops in a range of community and corporate settings.
