Join Sarah Needham for a workshop where you will process earths and other materials to make small samples of pigment to take home. Sarah has personally collected the materials on her journeys around the world and will guide you through the process.
An exhibition of Earth Beneath Her Feet by Sarah is on show in our gallery from 30th July until 23rd August. For more info, have a look here.
Sarah Needham is an abstract painter living and working in North London. Her practice explores the notion that the material she uses to create her art carries meaning in-and-of-itself – pigments that are broken down by pestle and mortar tell the story of the geological history of the earth and the stories of the people who lived on it.
