Unwind in the City - Wednesday Kids’ Art Club
Cartoon workshop with Calvin O’Neill
Calvin's super awesome fun cartoon workshop extravaganza will give children an opportunity to create characters and a short story. The experience is designed to take kids out of their comfort zone, in a low-stakes environment, and introduce them to the idea that improvising and adapting to your surroundings can sometimes lead to a more enjoyable results than a logical approach. When the children leave, they will have created their own comic strip: a lasting memory for them and their family of their fun and silly side.
Calvin O'Neill is an artist, animator and writer who specialises in expressive, original cartoons. Being mostly self taught, he believes that the key to artistic growth is a willingness to have fun and try new things. You will be hard pressed to find an artist who takes himself less seriously, with as much of a passion for what he does.
This workshop is free to attend but please book your spot to ensure there are enough materials for everyone.
