Where 'REBIRTH' and its story are shaped around riot and protest and their place in the past and present of Black British history, the 'New Eden' installation stems from the idea of what can grow from the grief at the heart of these marginalised communities.

Wandering between innocence and reality, these scenes all rest on trying times of the story's heroes, as they process their place amidst the disarray they find themselves in. Finally finding this serene new space, they now stand unified as they seek out growth and restitution.

The installation, along with the 'REBIRTH' short film is intended to highlight protest as a means of political communication for those living in communities whose grievances often go unheard and unchanged and emphasise how it then calls people to action.
