Unwind in the City - Wednesday Kids’ Art Club
Bookbinding workshop with Jenni Allen
Using a selection of papers, Jenni will lead children through the process of creating an A5 or A6 notebook using simple bookbinding techniques, including folding and stitching. To make best use of already existing resources, we will also work with discarded papers and off-cuts of printed matter (magazines, paper carrier bags, lightweight card packaging like cereal boxes).
Jenni Allen is a screen printer who produces limited edition artworks on paper which feature bold colour and abstract shape. She shares her mixed media skills by teaching workshops in a range of community and corporate settings.
This workshop is free to attend but please book your spot to ensure there are enough materials for everyone.
